WADI Youth Committee 

The Washington Destination Imagination Youth Committee (WA DI YC) works to represent WA DI both within and beyond tournaments, support Team Managers and teams in their DI journey, and foster opportunities for growth, leadership, and creativity.

Mentorship Program

• A fast and accessible way for teams and Team Managers to get answers to their questions from experienced DI participants.
• All mentorship will be done online, and can be one-off or a recurring event based on your team's needs.​

Intro to DI Workshop

Season Kickoff Event

• This is a great way for any interested parents and kids to learn more about DI from actual DI participants and alumni. In addition, it's a wonderful way for current teams to mingle amongst themselves prior to the tournament where things can get quite hectic! ​

Deconstructing DI Video Series 

• Deconstructing DI (DDI) is an initiative begun by the WA DI YC in hopes to share easily digestible pieces of information about DI and the tournament season, due to the unique nature of the competition. ​

Video Archive 

• Video Archive Link: TBD
• The youth committee aims to have WA DI teams and alumni share videos of their past performances -- whether it be from Regionals, State or Global Finals -- from any year prior. These videos will then be publicly uploaded to YouTube and serve as a comprehensive resource hub for DI teams. ​
